HONORARY MEMBER EDITH GALLATIN DIES HERE OF HEART AILMENT Funeral Services Set for Saturday In Episcopal Church Mrs. Edith Post Gallatin of Big Horn passed away early Wednesday morning in a local hospital, following a heart attack suffered two days ago. She has been ill several years with a heart condition. Mrs. Gallatin was born August 7, 1883 in Bellport, Long Island. She was married to Goelet Gallatin, Oct. 1, 1902. Prior to coming to Big Horn in 1911 to make their home at the Gallatin ranch, Mr. and Mrs. Gallatin resided in New York City. Survivors include the widower; one son, Major Thomas G. Gallatin; one daughter, Mrs. Carlo Beuf and two grandchildren, Francisco and Alesslandro. Two sisters survive, Mrs. Post Candler of New York City and Mrs. Hamilton Webster of Newport, R.I.; one brother, W. K. Post of Bayport, Long Island. Another brother, Regis Post, recently deceased, spent two years here with the family at the Gallatin ranch. He was an ex-governor of Puerto Rico. Major Gallatin arrived in Sheridan Tuesday evening from West Palm Beach, Fla., where he is now stationed. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in St. Peter's Episcopal church, Rev. C. A. Myers officiating. Burial will be in Sheridan Municipal cemetery.l

Joseph A Tritsch Sr

Honorary Member Sept 7, 1962 Joseph A. Tritsch , 78, Homestead, Fla., formerly of Bloomington, a retired pilot and piston engine aeronautical mechanic, died April 15, 1991, at his home of a heart condition. Originally from New York, Mr. Tritsch and his wife, Winnie Flanagan Tritsch , resided in Bloomington for eight years before moving to Florida. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Peter, Miramar, Fla.; two local stepdaughters, Sharon Mungo, 611 E. Taylor St., Bloomington, and Sandra Flanagan, 1405 E. Vernon Ave., Apt. 27, Normal; seven grandchildren; 15 stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. His first wife and one son preceded him in death. Mr. Tritsch was very active in Bloomington-Normal senior citizen activities. There was a memorial service in Homestead. He was cremated.
