The Bayport Fire Department holds annual elections on the first Thursday of December. These elections are not open to the public. Contestants are nominated the previous month (certain positions require prerequisites or qualifications) and then elected via popular vote the following month.
The 2009 election results are as follows:
Chief Glen Bailargeon (1st term)
1st Assistant Chief Paul Bachek (1st term)
2nd Assistant Chief Ryan Tomassone (1st term)
Treasurer Chris Sena (1st term)
Recording Secretary Dr. Edgar Borrero (1sr term)
Corrosponding Secretary Keith Charpentier (1st term)
Trustee C. Lee Rosche
Trustee Otto Brauner
